Meet Mendel & Naomi Chaya. Married a short 14 months ago and blessed with a beautiful 1 1/2 month old son, Eli Leib.
They live in Dnipro.
Naomi Chaya taught in the kindergarten.
Mendel was a Mashgiach who would travel to neighboring towns to provide Kosher certification to different dairy and meat products and factories.
The war has brought an end to both of their jobs. The schools have closed and none of the factories or food stores have remained open. Most of the owners and workers have fled.
For a young family with a newborn baby with no way of leaving town and no income, these times are unimaginably difficult.
